Shrine Circus Bear - 2011
At the Shrine Circus, there was a display booth that provided attendees the chance to take a picture with a live bear. This bear had to be fed AT ALL TIMES in order to keep still. Outside the frame are two handlers with multiple boxes of dry cereal. What you also don't see in this frame is a two-inch thick pane of fiberglass, separating the humans from the bear, reaching over seven feet in height.
I used Adobe Photoshop to erase the partition fiberglass, and created a slight shadow (with pattern blending) to complete the effect. This image made many rounds with the Shrine Circus.
