Targeting the Female Market 2012
I wrote this spot with the female of the species in mind.
The majority of Rocky's spots focused on a three-person cast: two males and a female. I wanted to take advantage of Audra as a role model, and as an active comedic foil in the Battle Of The Sexes.
I took an old-fashioned newsreel tone in the narrative, and played with the language (fellow females, cream of a car / car of your dreams).
It gave the Audra character a chance to break free from the rest of the cast and assert herself as a formal-yet-witty spokesperson.
